フラワー・アンド・リーフ・ラティス絨毯 Flower and Leaf Lattice Rug

この絨毯の出典は、「Antique Rugs of Kurdistan A Historical Legacy of Woven Art」という本であり、James D. Burnsによる2002年の第40号です。このオフセットパターンは、パームツリーと幹が大きな分岐した葉で構成されており、17世紀のサアルジュ・ブラーグ（東クルディスタン地域）のデザインを一部分として捉えた印象があります。非常に似たようなパームツリーが曲線的な方法で描かれ、同じく分岐した葉と組み合わされたものは、17世紀末以降、東ペルシャのホラーサーン州ヘラートで作られた工房の絨毯の一部に見ることができます。同じパターンであるハルシャンデザインは、18世紀にはカフカーズ地域でも使用されました。この絨毯のデザインは、当社のデザイナーによって解釈され、柔らかい色が選ばれています。

The source of the rug comes from the book Antique Rugs of Kurdistan A Historical Legacy of Woven Art, James D. Burns, 2002 nr.40. This offset pattern is composed of palmettes and stems with large forked leaves, one has the impression that it is only part of a larger scheme designed 17th-century rug from Sa’luj Bulagh, Eastern Kurdistan area. Very similar palmettes, drawn in a curvilinear manner and combined with identical forked leaves, can be seen on a few examples of workshop carpets made from the late seventeenth century onward in Herat in Khurasan province, east Persia, and the same pattern known as Harshang design was used in the Caucasus in the eighteenth century, as well. The design of this rug is interpreted by our designers and soft colors are chosen for this rug.
